This is a 2004 Christmas Edition Playful Heart Monkey. Playful Heart is one of the Care Bear Cousins. He is a very mischievous character. To him, the entire world is his playground.
The inside of his tag reads: "No one in the Forest of Feelings has as much fun as Playful Heart Monkey. This wild guy treats the whole world as one big playground. He has a talent for turning everything into a game. The heart-shaped balloon and party favors on Playful Heart Monkey's tummy reminds us that there's fun to be found in all we do."
This is a 2005 All My Heart Bear. She was released just for Valentines day in 2006. She came in a special gift box and was sold only at Target stores. It's VERY rare to find one in the gift box and even more rare to find it in the gift box without anyone's names written in the To and From.
This bear also has special meaning to me because Becky and I loved each other with all of our hearts.
I was looking through things again yesterday and stumbled on another Valentines Special Edition All My Heart Bear. I'll get pictures posted soon.
This is a 2002 Grumpy Bear. It is from Carlton Cards and is 4 inches tall. Grumpy is wearing a Santa Hat and a red scarf. He also has the "retro" hair curl, not the "troll hair" like a lot of the newer bears. This bear also has a loop sewn into his head so you could hang him on the Christmas tree as an ornament. Also notice the tag is in both English and French, so this bear was likely sold in Canada.
This is another Sample Not For Resale bear. This bear was a proof of concept for a special Easter edition of Funshine Bear. I'm pretty sure I have one of the released bears somewhere as well.
This one also has the added bonus of the Sample Tag still being attached. It notes that there were changes to the fleece outfit and the sewn-in hood.
